2.Eligibility, exam subjects and exam timetable

Eligibility

  1. Those who have graduated from high school or secondary school, or those expecting to graduate from such schools in March 2016
  2. Those who have completed Year 12 school education with a normal curriculum, or those who are expecting to complete such education in FY 2015
  3. Those who are acknowledged by ordinances of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology and other relevant organizations that
    they have academic skills equivalent to or above those in (1) and (2), above.
  4. Those who took exam in subjects specified by the University at the FY 2016 National Center Test

First exam

(1)Subjects for the independent exam

  • Applicants shall take Japanese and English exams for the General entrance exam method. Answer sheets will be marked by computer.
  • The subject with the highest score (standard deviation value) will be used in deciding whether the applicant is successful or not.

Remarks

  • If Japanese in the Independent exam is to be evaluated, Japanese in National Center Test will not be evaluated. Also, if English in the independent exam is to be evaluated, English in National Center Test will not be evaluated.
  • If two subjects are selected from Geography, History and Society, the marks for the first choice will be used for assessment.
  • If Foundation Science subjects are selected, select two foundation science subjects from among three
  • Deviation values are used in evaluating each subject.

3.Enrollment procedures

If you are successful in your application, please complete the University's enrolment procedures during the period from Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 to Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.
Successful applicants will receive a notice of successful application and the enrolment procedure guidelines.
